Jakob Lenz Guesthouse

Location

Jakob Lenz Guesthouse can be found near the Old Town, in the so called “quiet centre” of Riga. The downtown can be reached in 15 minutes, the Riga Arena in 10 minutes while the Skonto Hall in 20 minutes by walking. This neighbourhood is rich in Art Nouveau buildings, embassy and government buildings, museums and café bars. Coach and train station is located only 2 km far from the hotel.

Guesthouse

The five-storey, friendly guesthouse opened its doors in 2003, the last renovation works were in 2006. Jakob Lenz Guesthouse was named after the famous poet Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz, who started the German literature movement “Sturm und Drang” together with Goethe. Free Internet corner, breakfast room, one kitchen for common use and free guarded parking are at guests’ disposal. Elevator is not available in the building. Pets welcome (free of charge, but need to be requested in advance).

Rooms

Some of the rooms do not possess a private bathroom, shared bathing facilities are available (2-3 rooms have one common bathroom). Other rooms have a bathroom with own shower. All rooms have wireless Internet access. Suites (for max. 4 persons) consist of a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom (bathtub or shower) and are equipped with television and wireless Internet connection. All rooms and suites are non-smoking.
