Location
Hotel Karavella *** is situated on the right bank of the Daugava River, in quiet and calm surroundings, 3 kilometres away from the Train Station, 2 kilometres from the Old Town and 1,5 kilometres from the downtown. The passenger marine harbour is located only 15 minutes far from the hotel. The Riga Arena (where ice-hokey and basketball matches and concerts are held), the Skonto Stadion (football stadion) and the Skonto Hall (primarily used for holding ice-hokey and basketball matches, but it also played host to the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest) are all in the hotel’s vicinity.
Hotel
The twelve-storey Hotel Karavella *** was built in 1991 and renovated in 2004. Reception, parking place (free of charge), drinkbar and sauna serve guests’ comfort in the hotel, there is no elevator in the building. Breakfast is served in the Café Breeze, Cafe Lagoon await guests wide a wide choice of drinks and snack food. The hotel offers a conference room (with the capacity of 20 persons) for business travelers. Pets are not allowed.
Rooms
Rooms are equipped with a bathroom (shower), hairdryer, television (Pay TV), telephone and Wifi Internet connection. Guests can also stay at spacious suites. Nonsmoking rooms are available. Room service can be requested between 10:00 am and 23:00 pm.
